VITACEAE
This holy grail of caudex plants is native to southwestern Angola and northwestern Namibia. It's a spectacular species that's incredibly aesthetic and a true delight for many collectors.
This species remains rather compact and grows very slowly. Its ornamental value lies in its beautiful peeling bark and magnificent caudex.
The leaves and berries it produces are also quite a spectacle. They are sun-lovers that need plenty of light and prefer a warm spot. Not for beginners.
They are beautifully cultivated plants in peak form.
