AMARYLLIDACEAE

 Also known colloquially as the powderbrush, this is an easy-to-grow bulbous plant from South Africa. Its name comes from the flowers that appear in winter and resemble a brush. It requires very little attention and is recommended for everyone.

 Full sun, or on an east- or west-facing windowsill. Water when the substrate becomes dry.
