CONVOLVULACEAE
This beautiful-leaved plant is native only to Kenya. It's a relative newcomer to the hobby and is popular for its large, heart-shaped leaves. In nature, it forms thick, swollen stems to bridge periods of drought. In cultivation, it's prized for its attractive leaf shape and thick, thick stem. Once they're a bit larger, they should be able to flower, but it will take several years of proper care to reach that stage.
Full sun and regular watering during the growing season when the substrate is almost dry. Reduce watering in the fall to stop completely in winter. The plant will drop its leaves, but don't panic; the stem will have enough energy to sprout again in the spring.
