MORINGACEAE
These larger trees are native to northwestern India and northeastern Pakistan. They are also called the miracle tree because of the high nutritional value of all parts of the plant, as well as some medicinal uses. Because of this, this tree has spread pantropically and is found on almost all continents. The trees are naturally very drought-resistant. The pinnate leaves create a soft appearance against the white-gray background of the bark. They produce hermaphroditic flowers that develop into enormous pods resembling drumsticks.
Full sun, water during the growing season when the substrate becomes dry. Allow it to go dormant in winter by not watering. It will shed its leaves and produce new ones when spring returns.
