MALVACEAE
This tree is native to Central America, from Mexico to Nicaragua. It grows slightly taller and is suitable for larger spaces. You can, of course, keep the plant smaller by keeping it in a smaller pot and pruning it regularly. With its sturdy, thick trunk, the plant stores water to bridge periods of drought. During the growing season, the tree is covered with beautiful compound leaves. In winter, the plant sheds its leaves and goes dormant.
Full sun, water when the pot dries out; it drinks a fair amount in summer. Keep dry in winter and let the plant go dormant.
IMPORTANT : Since these are large plants, it is best to contact us to select a specific tree.
