PEDALIACEAE
These beautiful specimens grow wild in Zimbabwe, Botswana, and northern South Africa. A member of the sesame family, this exceptional shrub to small tree exhibits beautiful branching from the base. The branches are spiny, and the soft, light green leaves are arranged very closely to the branch. Sometimes the shrub also blooms with relatively large white flowers with a long, trumpet-shaped corolla. A showpiece that is relatively easy to maintain.
Full sun; water when the root ball becomes dry during the growing season. Stop watering around early October and keep dry until the new leaves appear in spring.
