 This majestic monster can be found from South Africa to SW Namibia.
 Also called the butter tree, after its juicy, tender stems.
 A beautiful plant that automatically has a strong bonsai character. Its flaking bark is stunning, even during its leafless summer dormancy.

 Winter grower! Water from September to May/June. Stop watering in summer and let it go dormant; the leaves will drop. Full sun!
