PEDALIACEAE

These larger trees originate from Madagascar and are truly beautiful and easy-to-grow gems. In the wild, they are small trees that grow to a maximum of 7.5 meters but often remain much smaller. They store water and nutrients in their succulent trunks to help them weather dry spells. The leaves are beautifully and softly hairy and slightly sticky. If you touch and lightly crush the leaves, your hand smells nutty, almost slightly stinky.

They flower very readily and for a long time in a succession.

IMPORTANT: These are large plants. It's best to contact us to choose one you like.

In short, a plant with great potential as a houseplant or for a conservatory/veranda.

Full sun. Water thoroughly during the growing season when the substrate tends to dry. Keep dry in winter. The plant will drop its leaves, but don't panic. They will come back in the spring and then you can start watering again.
