This pre-made substrate consists largely of a mineral fraction (a mixture of lava, pumice, and solid rock such as gravel) and a smaller portion of an organic fraction (soil, humus, compost). Ideal for less demanding, less demanding species.

 The intensive version has slightly more organic matter to provide more nutrition to the plant. At first glance, it also seems to be slightly better than the extensive version.
